SOLD - 13283 E Marigold Lane

Congratulations to our agent Samantha Milhoan who not only closed on her very first real estate transaction but it also just so happens to be a home she purchased for herself! Samantha dove head first in to the real estate world by purchasing a short sale for herself, her husband, and their five children.

There's nothing like learning the intricacies of a real estate transaction knowing your hard work is going towards fulfilling your own life long dream of home ownership. It was such a pleasure for me to work along side her as her Broker and Mentor throughout this home purchase...read more

If you've never taken in a live training camp practice it's a great experience.

All players reported for duty on August 1st and now have a few practices under their belt to knock off the rust from their annual hiatus. Leading up to their first pre-season game against the Kansas City Chiefs on August 15th at the University of Phoenix Stadium, here is the remaining training camp practice schedule which is open to the public...read more

Learning from past advertising and marketing mistakes

We live in a world where advertisements and marketing campaigns are being thrown at us all day, every day. Companies are constantly attempting new and inventive ways to catch our eyes and ears from the minute we get up to the time we lay our heads down on the pillow at night. If corporations could figure out a way to beam information about their products directly in to our dreams I'm sure we'd all wake up with overwhelming desires to purchase any number of new and unnecessary items.

It's getting increasingly more difficult for small business owners to catch our piece of the consumers attention. We don't have the plus-sized budgets that big companies have at their disposal to advertise across all media platforms, at all times of the day, and over the entire Country. As technology increases allowing for individuals to fast-forward, skip, and shut out much of the advertising that is thrown their way this also adds to the frustration of small businesses trying to tout their services to the masses...read more

July saw declines across the board in Sold, Active and New listing prices here in Gilbert, Arizona. The busy Summer housing market appears to be coming to an early end this year. Back in June 2015 we still were seeing modest increases in Active and New listing prices but the average Sold price had flat lined. However, everything took a step back in July. The average home in Gilbert was Active for sale at $320,000 which is a $5,000 decrease from June. The average Sold home in July closed at $260,000 which is a $10,000 decrease from the previous month, and the median price of newly listed homes was $279,000 which is $11,000 below June's numbers...read more

What I learned in Real Estate this week - 8/2/2015

I've been working with a buyer for the past seven months. It seems like much longer than that actually since I was first contacted by this potential homeowner. She is a young, single mother who is putting herself through college. She is of Native American descent and would be the first of her generation to live outside of her Reservation. If all goes according to plan she would also be the first person in her family to complete a college degree. She is a very driven individual in almost all aspects of her life but when it came down to purchasing a home there was a large dent in her otherwise stout armor...read more
