April recorded the fifth straight month that Active listing prices have increased in Gilbert, Arizona. Going all the way back to November of 2014 the average home in Gilbert was Active for sale at only $300.000. However, in April of 2015 the average home was listed for sale at $329,000. The median list prices of newly listed homes being put up for sale in April 2015 was $295,000 and the average sold price of a home in Gilbert, Arizona for April of 2015 was $260,000. Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for the 5th of May. Aside from a holiday that celebrates Mexican heritage, Cinco de Mayo actually commemorates the Mexican armies unexpected and unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
