National Beer Day - 2015

April 7th is National Beer Day. Why is National Beer Day celebrated on April 7th? This date marks the end of Prohibition when citizens were once again allowed to buy, sell, and consume alcohol after a twelve year ban. Also known as the Cullen-Harrison Act which was signed in to law by President Roosevelt on March 22, 1933 but officially went in to effect on April 7th of that year. So if you are a brother of the brew, a sultan of suds, or a connoisseur of craft beer, pull up a stool because today is your day! more
