This was the unfortunate comment left on a voice mail to a very good friend of mine when they decided that selling their home was not the right move for them at this time. These close friends of mine had made a smart purchase three years ago when the real estate market had hit it's bottom and now they are reaping the rewards of having quite a bit of equity built up. I had listed their home for sale a few months ago on the chance that they might be able to find a slightly larger home with a pool before Summer...read more.

I have blogged about Schnepf Farms many times before. They are a great locally owned farm in Queen Creek, Arizona which is just about a 20 minute from from my home in Gilbert. This time of year they put on their Easter Egg-Citement event which is happening on April 4th from 9am to 4pm...read more.
There's a first time for everything
I wrote a blog post a few weeks ago about the tremendous amount of new build construction going on in the Gilbert, Arizona market and the fact that I took out an entire Saturday to tour several of the new build sites. I didn't even get to a fraction of the new home communities that day but I still plan on dedicating another weekend to touring more models so that I can be educated and keep up with the trends coming to the marketplace. Gilbert, Arizona Real Estate Agent attacked during Open House

In fact the open house the agent was holding is no more than a few miles from where I live. Thankfully the attacker left without doing any serious harm to the agent and she was able to get a few specific descriptions of the perpetrator...read more.
Working with New Real Estate Agents works for me
Yesterday I got to spend some quality time with a new agent, Samantha, who just signed up under my brokerage two weeks ago. I'll officially welcome her soon but I digress. She's fresh out of real estate school and the ink probably isn't even dry on her real estate license yet. Training new agents who have never been in the real estate industry gives me an opportunity to remember what it was like when I was a new agent 17 years ago...read more.
The Most Expensive Home sold in Arizona last week
Every week I like to share a little bit about my market with the Active Rain community and I post the most expensive home that sold in Arizona the previous week. Last weeks most expensive home was a multi-million dollar luxury property in Paradise Valley. This gorgeous and sprawling estate located on the side of Camelback mountain sold for 3.25 million dollars. The views alone are worth every penny this lucky buyer laid down to be the one to call this place home...read more.
