Phoenicians, as we're called, are a conglomerate of people in which a vast majority did not originate locally. Arizona is a very popular destination for retirees and anyone looking to escape the harsh winters from around the Country. We have dozens of major employers and sunshine over 300 days a year. Because we are such a hot bed of re-locations, it's not uncommon to go long stretches of time in between meeting someone new who is actually from the Phoenix area.
