Cinco De Mayo celebrations around Phoenix

Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for the 5th of May. Aside from a holiday that celebrates Mexican heritage, Cinco de Mayo actually commemorates the Mexican armies unexpected and unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
